Chaing Mai - Nirvana!

We arrived in Chaing Mai Dec 24 where we'll be for about 4 days.

Activities scheduled for today:
1. Check into guest house and crash for a few hours. This honeymooning is tiring!
2. Find moped rental and secure cool wheels for the night.
3. Spend X-mas eve at annual Burmese advocacy party - guests including many ex-pat aid workers and even more Burmese refugees. Activites include eating traditional Burmese food, catching up with friends (this is more for Susan), making new friends (Josh and Susan here), and watching Burmese children come as close as they can to roasting themselves alive by playing unsupervised with the bonfire.

For those in the know, this rivals our last holiday season where we spent New Year's in Tel Aviv dancing and singing traditional Bulgarian folk dances and songs while holding fire crackers over our heads with a bunch of drunk Bulgarian friends. Our holidays are just getting more and more interesting.
